Copycat: During the first night, choose a player. If that player is eliminated during the day, you become their role. If the player is eliminated during the night, you are eliminated.
Card Designs
Thank you all for weighing in on the great border debate! It has been decided to have the border only on the tarot cardbacks. A white border has also been added to both sets of cardbacks to ensure smoother card recognition by the moderator app.
Behind the Scenes: The Insomniac
Here is a sneak peek at how artist Christine Mitzuk brought The Insomniac to life. She uses real life models to achieve the perfect pose and lighting for the role, then proceeds with a series of sketches before coming up with a final product. Christine developed over 80 unique roles for us over the past two years, sending us about four each month. We were always so excited to get a new batch to review!
The amount of time, research and development that went in to each one is far more than meets the eye; Christine took the time to make sure the clothing and accessories were appropriate to that time period depending on the culture she was trying to represent in the character. We absolutely love the artwork for this game but, it makes us appreciate it even more when we see these little glimpses into the creative process. The idea for the tarot card deck came from us wanting a way to show the entire image rather than the zoomed in image that appears in the normal deck; there was just too much amazing detail to let it go forever unseen!

Hunter Wolf: Each night, along with the wolves, choose a player to eliminate. If you are eliminated, you may eliminate any other player.
Elusive Seer: The first night, learn who all the regular Villagers are.
Tarot Card Debate Continued...
Thank you all for weighing in on the design options for our tarot card deck. The large majority of backers seem to want the border design however, about 10 backers brought up the idea of having the design only on the cardbacks rather than on both sides - we'd like to now open this up for debate, let us know your thoughts again in the comment thread for this update!

Gladys: Each night after a neighbor is eliminated, learn if at least one of your new neighbors has taken a night action.
Reactive Seer: Each night after a player on the village team is eliminated during the day, you may try to find a wolf.
We Could Use Your Opinion...
For the tarot size deck that comes with the Super Collector's Edition (Pledge #2), we are torn between two ideas. We will not be featuring text on these cards to fully showcase the full length art, these cards will be for experienced players who have memorized the abilities. Would you all rather them be very simple with just the art and role name? OR would you prefer this neat added tarot like design? If you look closely, beautiful werewolf heads can be found lurking in the corners...
Now look closely, which do you prefer??

Illusion Artist: Once per game, choose a player. The Seer will see that player as opposite for the rest of the game.
Necromancer: Each night, choose two players. If one is eliminated that night, so is the other.
Assassin: Each day, you may look one of your neighbors in the eye and eliminate them.

What an incredible first day! Thank you all so much for your support, we are thrilled to have you all backing this campaign and helping us knock down the stretch goals to introduce more roles to this special edition.
Role Descriptions
Prairie Wolf: Each night, along with the wolves, choose a player to eliminate. During the first night, choose a player and learn if that player is the Seer or not.
Sheepdog: If time runs out before a vote takes place, you must vote for players to be eliminated.
Robber: The first night, wake up and steal a card from another player. You are now that role.
Evil Empath: Each night, learn if the Seer is adjacent to a wolf.
Spoiler: If you have not been eliminated by the end of the game, you are the only one who wins.
Mortician: Each night, you may eliminate a player until you eliminate a wolf. (Nathan's note, this means eliminate once each night. If you eliminate a wolf, you don't get to use your power anymore).
Flipper: During the first night, choose which team to join. If you have not been eliminated when one team is about to lose, you will join that team.
Old Man: You will be eliminated on night [current werewolves]+1.
For example: If there are 3 wolves in the game, the Old Man would self-eliminate on Night 4If one of those wolves is eliminated before night 4, the Old Man is out on night 3
Warlock: Once per game, you may prevent a player's elimination during the night, and instead target a different player for elimination.
Mama Wolf: Each night, along with the wolves, choose a player to eliminate. The first night, choose a player to be a lycan.
Sorcerer Wolf: Wake separately and search for the Seer until the first wolf is eliminated.
Outsider Wold: Do not wake with the other wolves. Wake separately and choose a player to eliminate.
